Many of you who have attended our classes and events are aware that our “word of the day” at Strive is always “safety”. The health and safety of our members will always remain our top priority. With this in mind, we wanted to keep you up to date on what Strive is doing with respect to the growing concerns about COVID-19.
We are paying attention to town, school and agency (e.g., department of health, CDC) guidelines regarding the virus. For those interested, the Town of Franklin has a Caronavirus information portal that can be accessed here: https://www.franklinma.gov/home/urgent-alerts/coronavirus-information-portal
Regarding Strive operations… we are currently closed to the public through March 27th. All classes, open gyms, parties and events during that time will either be rescheduled or canceled.
Please note, at Strive we have NOT had any members or staff report any personal issues related to the virus. No members have reported any virus contractions, exposures to others who have the virus or reported symptoms consistent with the virus. Our decision to close is a proactive measure… intended to align and contribute to the broader community efforts to slow the spread of the virus (or “flatten the curve” as some have read in the news.)
The two week closure is aligned with current plan of the Franklin Public School system as well as Franklin town offices. We will continue to assess the situation and communicate any changes as needed.
For those in our classes, our current plan is to extend our class session on the back end to make up for any classes that are missed during our period of closure. So our intent is that all class participants will have a full session of classes.
We know all of our members love taking classes, coming to open gyms and attending parties/events at Strive. We truly appreciate that support and we are honored to have the opportunity to provide the community with positive ninja experiences.
We are looking forward to the time when our doors open again and we can all resume our ninja-ing at Strive!!
As always, stay safe, healthy and #striveforbetter!
